Raymond W. Trinque, 98, of Baldwinville, died peacefully, Thursday, December 26, 2019, in Alliance Health at Baldwinville.
Born in Gardner on July 26, 1921, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Louise (Shaeffer) Trinque. He graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1939. Raymond served his country in the United States Army during World War II, where he received the Good Conduct Medal, the Victory Medal, and the American Theater Campaign Ribbon. He was an accountant employed by Troy Mills of Troy, NH, for many years before retiring in 1984.
Raymond was a member of Annunciation Parish/ Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner, 2nd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, and a member of VFW Post 905 of Gardner. He loved the outdoors, especially skiing, and spending time at the beach. Raymond enjoyed doing yard work at his residence and making sure it was up to his standard. He especially cherished time spent with his family.
He leaves one daughter Linda Call and her husband Steven of Gardner; one sister-in-law Evelyn Trinque; nieces and nephews Lynn and Steve Trinque and Mary and Tom Beauregard; great-niece and nephew Lauren and Brandon Beauregard; several cousins.
He was predeceased by his wife Jennie (Agnelli) Trinque, who died on February 14, 2019; one brother Wilfred Trinque, one sister Lil Morris.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2020, from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA, 01440, with Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA, 01440. Burial will be held in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, at a later date.
A Calling Hour will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2020, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
