Raymond Pasquale

Raymond “Ray” Pasquale, 92, of Gardner, died peacefully Tuesday, March 8, 2022, in Sentra Leigh Hospital, Norfolk, VA.

Born in Fitchburg on March 30, 1929, he was the son of the late Bernard D. and Philomena (Minnituick) Pasquale. He was a United States Army Korean War Veteran serving from 1951 to 1953, where he received the Korean Service Medal with Two Stars and the United Nations Service Medal. Ray was a Clerk employed by the United States Postal Service in Leominster for 34-years prior to his retirement. He was previously employed by The Gardner News for 18-years.

Ray was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish/ Holy Spirit Chapel of Gardner. He was a member of the Ovila Case VFW Post 905 of Gardner and the Fitchburg Social Club of Fitchburg. Ray enjoyed working on Sudoku, puzzles and traveling being snowbirds to Florida since 2001.  His greatest enjoyment came when he was with family, always treasuring the time they spent together.

Raymond is survived by his wife of 48-years, Elizabeth M. (Reynolds) Pasquale of Gardner; five sons, Raymond Pasquale and his wife Susan of New Hampshire, Anthony Pasquale and his wife Kim of Florida, Jeffrey Pasquale and his wife Annette of California, Christopher Pasquale and his wife Holly of Virginia, and Joseph Pasquale and his wife Marie of North Carolina; ten grandchildren, Nicole, Maria, Christina, Michael, Ashton, Christopher, Vincent, Emily, Elena, and Evan; three great-grandchildren with one on the way; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his three brothers, Rocco, Anthony and William Pasquale; and his three sisters, Rose Perry, Elsie Sharrin, and Lena Boulay.  

Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 18, 2022, from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc. 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA, with a Mass at 11:30 a.m. in Annunciation Parish at Holy Spirit Chapel, 50 Lovewell, Street, Gardner, MA. Burial with Military Honors will follow at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, MA.

A Calling Hour will be held Friday, March 18, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
