Raymond L. Meunier, 61, of 118 Marquette Street, died Saturday, June 14th in Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol.
Born in Gardner on February 14, 1947, he was the son of the late Raymond J. and Madeline M. (Dupre) Meunier.
Raymond was a laborer employed by the City of Gardner for twenty-eight years, from August 29, 1969 through October 25, 1997.
Raymond was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner. He was a member of the Leominster Civil Defense Mobil Canteen Unit, and the Templeton Fish and Game Club, Inc.
He loved fireworks, coffee frappes, and going to the Templeton Ice Cream Barn. Raymond enjoyed attending fairs, especially the "Big E". He enjoyed spending time at their family camp at the Templeton Fish and Game with his dogs Bengi and Lucy, and his best friend Cleo Fredette and family.
Raymond leaves two brothers, Ronald F. Meunier of Gardner and Kenneth P. and his wife Deborah G. of Templeton; two nieces, two nephews and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 20th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 9:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours in the funeral home are Thursday, June 19th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
