Raymond J. Leger, 70, of 59 Eastwood Circle, Gardner, died Friday, May 27th in the Leo P. LaChance Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing, Gardner.
Born in Gardner on June 14, 1934, he was the son of Alphonse and Marie (Leger) Leger.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church and was active in its yearly bazaars.
He enjoyed playing Bingo, traveling and eating out. He delivered meals and the local newspaper to the elderly.
He leaves 2 aunts, Emelienne Richard and Evangeline Friberg both of Gardner and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 31st from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St. Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour at the funeral home will be Tuesday, May 31st from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner, MA 01440.
