Raymond H. Daley, 85, of Jean St., Gardner died peacefully Sunday, December 25th in the Leo P. LaChance Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing, Gardner, following an illness.
Born in Worcester on March 3, 1920, he was the son of William H. and Eva L. (LaRoche) Daley.
He was an attendant employed by the Worcester State Hospital for 10 years, retiring in 1984. He was previously employed by the former Gardner State Hospital for 6 years.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church and its League of the Sacred Heart.
Mr. Daley was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and received the Good Conduct Medal, World War II Victory Medal and American Service Medal.
He leaves 1 sister, Helen Archambeault of Gardner; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister, May L. Brideau of Gardner.
All funeral services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
