Pierre V. Pelletier, 66, of Gardner, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 in Heywood Hospital of Gardner.
Pierre was born in Gardner on July 3, 1950, the son of the late Joseph Rene and Helene A. (Vaillancourt) Pelletier.
A lifelong resident of Gardner, he graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1968 and spent his employment years working in the furniture manufacturing industry within the city. Pierre was employed by Conant Ball Furniture Company, Heywood Wakefield Company, Nichols and Stone Company and finally Standard Chair of Gardner, Inc., where he retired from due to health issues.
Pierre was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner.
He was a cat lover who had multiple cats at any given time. Pierre frequented flea markets and yard sales. He loved lamps, and was known for his ability to turn any item into the most creative lamp imagined.
Pierre leaves two brothers, Leo Pelletier and his wife Lorraine of Gardner and Robert Pelletier and his wife Lisa of Gardner; one sister, Nancy Pelletier and her spouse Sky of Fitchburg; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond Pelletier and J. Rene Pelletier Jr.
Graveside Services will be held Thursday, June 8th at 1:00 p.m. in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner.
