Phyllis “Terry” (Goguen) Simpson, 66, of Gardner, died peacefully Thursday, January 25, 2024, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, after an illness.
Born in Bistroff Moselle, France on October 6, 1957, she was the daughter of Rose Marie (Landry) Goguen of Fitchburg and the late Laurie J. Goguen. She graduated from Fisher Junior College with a Secretarial Certificate in 1984.
She loved listening to music, girls weekends and trips to the white mountains.
Besides her mother, Phyllis is survived by her daughter Erin Jackson of Fitchburg; her son, Joshua Simpson of Gardner; four grandchildren, Tyler, Sebastian, Rylee, and Dilynn Simpson; a great-grandchild, Ryder Simpson; two sisters, Marie L. Clark of Athol and Gisele M. Doyle of Millerton, NY; three brothers, Bernard R. Goguen of Gardner, Francis A. Goguen of Gardner, and Normand M. Goguen of Lunenburg; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her sister, Jeannette R. Goguen.
There are no funeral services scheduled at this time.
