Phyllis A. Gillis

Phyllis A. (Coyle) Gillis, 87, of Gardner, formerly of Leominster, went to join her husband Bernie, parents George & Agnes, her favorite Uncle John, nephew Timmy as well as many family/friends and beloved pets in heaven on, Friday, November 5, 2021.

Phyllis graduated from Templeton High School with the Class of 1952 and received a Business Certificate from the Stevens Business School in Fitchburg. Phyllis was an Administrator for Section Eight Housing employed by the City of Fitchburg for many years prior to her retirement.

Phyllis was a member of the Fitchburg Retirees. She loved reading, working on crossword puzzles, Astronomy and talking daily to her friend Mary. She enjoyed many a road trip with Bernie over the years.

Phyllis is survived by her sister, Marianne, nephews/nieces, Richard, Francine, Rick & Vicky, her god children Roy & Linda as well as several cousins.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2021, from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA 01440, with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA.

A Calling Hour will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2021, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
