Phaeng Boupha, 71, of 377 Elm St., Gardner died Thursday, January 8th in the Leo P. LaChance Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing, Gardner, following a short illness.
She was born in Laos on October 10, 1932.
She was a member of Wat Lao Dhammaram Temple, Fitchburg and was a loving grandmother.
Her husband, Heuan Boupha, died in 1995.
She leaves 6 sons, Boonmy and his wife, Douang, Kuth and his wife Dafone, Phay and his wife Keo, Pheuy, Phou and his wife Saysamone Boupha, all of Gardner and Somboon Boupha of Marysville, CA; 2 daughters, Vanhkham and her husband Sy Chanthayom and Chanpang and her husband Ronald San Pedro both of Gardner; 15 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; 2 nieces, 1 nephew and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 17th @ 10:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner. Monk Phop Xayphakatsa will officiate. Following cremation, burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday, January 16th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
