Pauline A Houde

Pauline A. (Perreault) Houde, 90, of 51 Hospital Hill Road, Baldwinville, formerly of 308 Elm Street, Gardner, died peacefully Thursday, November 5th in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, surrounded by her family.

Pauline was born in Gardner on August 12, 1919, the daughter of the late Joseph and Lodolisca (Legault) Perreault.

Pauline was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Gardner. She was also a member of the Gardner Chapter of AARP and the Red Hat Society.

Pauline enjoyed playing bingo and cards. She was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. Pauline enjoyed traveling with her niece, Rita Frenette and was very involved in the nursing home activities.

Pauline was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Roger H. Houde, who died January 16, 1994.

She leaves one son, Denis R. Houde and his wife Evelyn of Gardner; three daughters, Diane Bible of Portsmouth, NH, Paulette E. Graves and her husband George of Baldwinville and Joyce A. Comjean and her husband Bradford of Pepperell; seven grandchildren, Matthew LeBlanc, Dwight Houde, Jordan Bible, Dana Bible, Ryan Graves, Cassandra Comjean and Derek Comjean; one great-grandchild, Delaney Houde; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by five brothers, Armand, Lionel, Wilfred, Eugene and Ozios Perreault; and three sisters, Florence Bibeau, Cecile Hebert, Sister Leona Marie Perreault of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary in Manchester, NH.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 10th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 166 Cross Street, Gardner. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner.

A calling hour in the funeral home will be Tuesday, November 10th from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
