Pauline M. (Desrosiers) Houde, 100, died peacefully Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center of Gardner.
Pauline was born in Gardner on May 29, 1917, the daughter of the late Francois Xavier and Alice M. (Brochu) Desrosiers.
Pauline graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1935.
She was employed by LaRoche Brothers, Inc. of Gardner as a stitcher for 10 years, retiring in 1979.
Pauline was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner.
She loved to travel, and she and her husband traveled extensively throughout the country.
Pauline leaves one niece, Jeanne Zoldak of Niceville, FL; two nephews, Phillip L'Huillier and his wife Sheryl of Crestview, FL, and Rev. Mr. Ron L'Huillier and his wife Ann of Villages, FL; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Ernest A. Houde, who died February 16, 2004; one brother, Edmond Desrosiers; and one sister, Juliette Y. L'Huillier.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 7th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner.
A calling hour will be held Monday, May 7th from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
