Paul R Sylvestre

Paul R. Sylvestre, 53, of Gardner, died Tuesday, May 31, 2016 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Lake Ave N, Worcester, following a long illness.
Born in Brockton on September 17, 1962, he was the son of Pearl (Lajoie) Sylvestre of Gardner and the late Robert Sylvestre.
Paul graduated from Oakmont Regional High School of Ashburnham with the Class of 1981, and attended Springfield Technical School.
He was a mechanic who owned and operated E. Broadway Automotive of S. Gardner.
Paul enjoyed snowmobiling, boating and going to Old Orchard Beach in Maine. He loved spending with time with his family.
Besides his mother, he leaves two sons, Michael J. Sylvestre and his wife Charissa of Norfolk, VA and Matthew R. Sylvestre of Gardner; two sisters, Karen M. Wheeler and her husband Keith of Templeton and Denise A. Bolduc and her husband David of Westminster; his significant other, Carol Salminen of Gardner; one grandchild, Aria Sylvestre; his former wife, Beverly (Barrett) Sylvestre; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held Thursday, June 9th at 11:00 a.m. in Woodside Cemetery, 9 Narrows Road, Westminster.
There are no calling hours.
