Paul Shetrawski

August 8, 1926 — November 26, 2006

Paul P. Shetrawski, 80, of 59 Grant Street, Gardner, died Sunday, November 26th in Heywood Hospital, Gardner.

Born in Gardner on August 8, 1926, he was the son of the late Kasper and Grace (Miller) Shetrawski.

He was a maintenance worker employed by F.W. Lombard Co. of South Ashburnham for 30 years.

Paul was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. He was a member of the V.F.W. Ovila Case Post 905, the Lithuanian Club and was a benefit member of the Polish American Citizens Club, all of Gardner.

He enjoyed woodworking. He was an avid sports fan of football, baseball, especially the Boston Red Sox, and the Boston Celtics.

Paul was a WWII United States Army Veteran, and received the Victory Medal.

He leaves his wife of 52 years, Gloria M. (Alves) Shetrawski of Gardner; 3 sons, Steven Shetrawski of Worcester, David Shetrawski and his wife Kristin of Winchendon, Dean Shetrawski of Gardner; 2 daughters, Sharon Crowley and her husband Timothy of Gardner, Sheila Roy of Leominster; 3 step-sons, Bruce Graves and his wife Bonnie of Otter River, Brian Graves and his wife Priscilla, and Barry Graves all of Gardner; 1 brother, Peter Paul Shetrawsk of Orange; 3 sisters, Adele Duckas and Annie LeBlanc of Gardner, and Susan Goguen of Fitchburg; 17 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 2 sons, Dana and Scott Shetrawski, 1 step-daughter Brenda Ayer; and 3 brothers, Anthony, Benny and John Shetrawski.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 1st at 10:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Reverend Andre Dargis, pastor of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner.

A calling hour at the funeral home will be Friday, December 1st from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
