Paul R. Maillet, 43, of 14409 Santell Drive, Chester, VA, died Friday, April 30th in Richmond, VA, following an illness.
Born in Gardner, on March 13, 1967, he was the son of the late Yvon and Therese (Pitre) Maillet.
Paul was a Certified Public Accountant, employed by Sun Trust Bank of Richmond, VA for several years.
He graduated from Gardner High School, Gardner with the Class of 1985. He attended Mount Wachusett Community College, Gardner and Fitchburg State College, Fitchburg.
Paul was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner.
His hobbies included photography, cooking and playing cards.
Paul leaves two brothers, Ronald J. Maillet and his wife Deborah of Leominster and Raymond J. Maillet and his significant other Sandy Bruso of Royalston; four sisters, Nancy M. Binder and her husband Peter of Gardner, Linda M. Maillet and her partner, Lucie Farrar of Loudon, TN, Rachel Maillet and her significant other, John Buckwalter of Ashburnham and his twin sister Paulette D. Maillet of Ashburnham; four nieces, Amanda Martin-Algarin, Jessica Maillet, Katie Maillet and Brittany Gesner; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Paul also leaves his dog Maxwell. He was predeceased by one brother, Norman F. Maillet and by one nephew, Billy Martin.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 15th at 11:00 a.m. in Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour in the funeral home will be Saturday, May 15th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130.
