Paul J. Cote

Paul J. Cote, 82, of South Barre, died peacefully, Sunday, November 8, 2020, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, after an illness.

Born in Worcester on August 24, 1938, he was the son of the late Alfred J. and E. Mildred (Dufresne) Cote. He graduated from Shrewsbury High School with the Class of 1956. Paul was a United States Air Force Veteran serving from 1956 to 1960, where he received the Good Conduct Medal. Paul was laborer employed by General Motors for several years until his retirement.

Paul was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church of Shrewsbury. He was a jack of all trades always looking for things to fix. He loved to tinker with things—taking them apart and put them back together. He loved animals, especially his dog, Mummy. But the time that he truly treasured was spent with his family.

Paul is survived by his two brothers; a sister; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by two brothers.

Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
