Paul E. Arsenault, 84, of Gardner, died peacefully Sunday, January 12, 2025, in The Highlands, Fitchburg, after a period of declining health.
Born in Gardner on March 6, 1940, he was the son of the late Christopher and Anita (Savoie) Arsenault. He graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1958. Paul was an automotive parts manager employed by Padula Brothers Tractors of Lancaster for three years until his retirement in 2000. He was previously employed by Newcomb & Walsh for over thirty years, Newcomb Motors for more than seven years, and Rick Star Motors.
Paul was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish of Gardner practicing at its Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. He was a member of the Templeton Fish and Game Club, the British Small Arms Club of Massachusetts, and the British Irons Association. Paul was an automotive enthusiast. He loved attending car shows and cruise nights in his 1977 Black Chevrolet Corvette. Paul loved his motorcycles, swapping between his three motorcycles, especially his 1959 BSA and his 1968 Triumph. He loved spending his summers on Wyman Pond, cruising on his boat. Paul’s greatest joy was his family, treasuring the time spent together.
Paul is survived by his wife of 27 years, Sharon F. Penski of Gardner; a daughter, Carrie Arsenault of Gardner; a brother, Robert Arsenault and his wife Charlene of Templeton; brothers-in-law, Eugene Fleck of Gardner and Anthony Penski and his wife Michele of Leesburg, FL; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by a brother, George Arsenault, and his sister, Doris Fleck.
In accordance with Paul’s wishes, there are no services.
