Patrick F. Richard

Patrick F. Richard, 47, of 32 Baker St., Gardner died Saturday in St. Vincent's Hospital, Worcester, from complications of diabetes.
Born in Gardner on June 14, 1956, he was the son of Raymond G. Richard.
At the time of his death he was a sales clerk employed by Brazell's Package Store of Gardner where he worked for the past ten years. He was previously employed by St. Bent Bros. Co. of Gardner for 25 years.
He was a 1974 graduate of Gardner High School.
He was a member of Our lady of the Holy Rosary Church. He was a member of Gardner Lodge of Elks Lodge 1426.
Mr. Richard enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and was an all-around sportsman.
He leaves his wife of 24 years, Nancy (Lajoie) Richard of Gardner; 3 sons, Shawn Zoldak and his wife Christina of Winchendon; Mark Richard and his fiancee, Amanda Stanton of Gardner, Patrick F. Richard Jr. of Gardner; 1 daughter, Brenda M. Richard of Gardner; his mother, Aline L. (Royer) Richard of Gardner; 3 brothers, Robert R. Richard of Gardner, Alex H. Richard of Keene, NH and Raymond G. Richard of Brewster; 3 sisters, Celeste G. Valliere of St. Augustine, FL, Theresa M. Chagnon of Westminster and Yvette A. Richard of Gardner; 2 grandsons, Jeremy Bond of Winchendon and Christopher Richard of Gardner; 2 granddaughters, Kaylee Richard of Gardner and Cassie Zoldak of Winchendon; 2 godchildren, Melissa Richard of Boston and Michelle Chagnon of Westminster; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner.

Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner, will be in the Spring.

Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
