Patricia A. Milbert

Patricia A. (LaBatt) Milbert, 77, of 144 High Street, Fitchburg, died Monday, November 17th in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, surrounded by her family, following an over two year battle with diabetes.

Born in Bennington, VT on October 13, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Thelma (Onstine) LaBatt, Sr.

Patricia was a machine operator, employed by Sanitoy Inc. of Fitchburg for many years, retiring in 1994.

She graduated from Gardner High School, Gardner, with the Class of 1950.

Patricia was a member of St. Bernard's Church, Fitchburg.

She enjoyed history, walking, going to Hampton Beach, NH, and traveling.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband Anthony Milbert, who died in 1986.

She leaves one son, James Milbert and his wife Lisa of New Ipswich, NH; two daughters, Mary M. Crossman and her husband William M. of Hampton Beach, NH and Nancy A. Milbert of Fitchburg; two brothers, Claude LaBatt, Jr. and his wife Judy of Gardner and E. James LaBatt and his wife Vickie of Walnut Creek, CA; one sister, Flora Berkley and her husband Joseph of Bremerton, WA; one sister-in-law, Jacqualyn Labatt of Wilmington, NC; five grandchildren, Leanne, Jessica, Tyler and Thomas Milbert all of New Ipswich, NH and Jonathan Crossman of Newton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Patricia also leaves her dear beloved cat, Fluffy. She was predeceased by one son, Thomas Milbert who died in 1988, and by one brother Ronald Milbert who died in 2002.

All services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
