Patricia A. (Charland) Kraskouskas, 62, of 29 Knower Road, Westminster, died peacefully Wednesday, March 3rd in Heywood Hospital, Gardner following a brief illness.
Born in Fitchburg on February 1, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Mary (Emerton) Charland.
Prior to retiring in 1992, Patricia was a clerical worker employed by Heywood Hospital of Gardner for several years.
She graduated from Oakmont Regional High School, Ashburnham with the Class of 1966.
Patricia was an active and involved member of Holy Spirit Church, Gardner. She was a Eucharistic Minister and was involved with the Couple to Couple Ministry, RCIA Teaching, the annual Church fair, the Parish Council and was a volunteer for the Bishop Fund. She was a member of the Mary Rivier Perpetual Adoration Chapel at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner.
Patricia enjoyed spending time at their summer home in Dennisport, MA and she adored her poodle dog, "Snoopy".
Patricia was predeceased by her husband of 16 years, Peter A. Kraskouskas, who died January 25, 2009.
Besides her beloved "Snoopy", she leaves a dear friend Denise L. MacAloney of Westminster.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 8th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Spirit Church, 50 Lovewell Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour in the funeral will be Monday, March 8th from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101 or to Holy Spirit Church Renovation Fund, 50 Lovewell Street, Gardner, MA 01440.
