Pamela Ann Hammonds, 62, of Orange, died peacefully on Saturday, September 28, 2024, in her home after an illness.
Born in Gardner on January 12, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Lee and June (Lehoux) Hammonds. Pamela was a PCA for Home Staff and a Foster Mother for over 30 years.
Pamela's vibrant personality was reflected in her love for the outdoors and family time. She found joy in her crafts, often working on arts and crafts, crocheting, and painting. Her love for the outdoors was evident in her frequent trips to York Beach, ME, and her cherished family home in the White Mountains.
Pamela is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Hammonds and her wife Julie Sargent, of Gardner, and Jillian Ketola, and her husband Neil, of Orange; one son, Justin-Gerry Hammonds, of Gardner; her grandchildren, Lilah and Kole Ketola, Jalyssa, Jayleigh, Jaylah, and Jazzy Hammonds, and Mikayla and Mikenzy Sargent; one great-grandchild, Scarlett Nichols; Jillian's father and devoted friend, Paul LeGault; four sisters, Mia Hammonds Evans, Amy Hammonds, Maria Hammonds, and Tina Hammonds. Pamela also leaves several extended children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends, as well as her dog Willow.
Pamela is pre-deceased by two sisters, Charity Hammonds and Lee Hammonds.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., in the Boucher Funeral Home Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA 01440. The family is having a special request that you wear fall colors to the services.
