Norman F. Maillet

Norman F. Maillet, 44, of 469 103rd Westover Hill Blvd., Richmond, VA, died Wednesday, April 5th in Chippenham Medical Center, Richmond, from complications of diabetes.

Born in Gardner on August 25, 1961, he was the son of the late Yvon J. Maillet.

He was a landfill technician employed by Republic Waste Services of Richmond, VA for 10 years until retiring in 2005 because of illness.

He was a 1979 graduate of Gardner High School and was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner. He had a loyal friend, his dog Briley.

Norman was assistant director and teacher of the Royal Cadets of Gardner. He was a New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan.

He leaves his mother, Theresa M. (Pitre) Maillet of Gardner; 3 brothers, Ronald J. Maillet and wife Debbie of Leominster, Raymond J. Maillet of Royalston, Paul R. Maillet of Richmond, VA; 4 sisters, Atty. Nancy Binder and husband Atty. Peter Binder of Gardner, Linda M. Maillet and her companion Lucie Farrar of Frederick, MD, Rachel Maillet of Carlsbad, CA, Paulette Maillet of Ashburnham; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Services will be held Saturday, April 15th at 10:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner. Rev. Andre Dargis, pastor of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, will officiate. Burial of cremains will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.

Calling hours at the funeral home are Saturday, April 15th from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
