Norman Cormier

Norman J. Cormier, 49, of 266 Rear Pleasant Street, Gardner, died suddenly Tuesday, January 9th in Heywood Hospital, Gardner.

He was born in Gardner on March 23, 1957, the son of Ulysse and Therese (LeBlanc) Cormier.

Norman was a self-employed siding applicator. He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner.

He enjoyed deep sea fishing, hunting, boating and camping.

Besides his parents of Gardner, he leaves one daughter, Sarah J. Hursey and her husband Peter of Gardner; two stepsons, Larry Vorce of Gardner, and Goldie Vorce of Concord, MA; one stepdaughter, Angel Melancon of North Andover, MA; three brothers, Gerard Cormier and his wife Donna of Tampa, FL, Oscar Cormier and his wife Pauline of Hubbardston, Roger Cormier and his wife Carol of Gardner; one sister, Anita Hubbard and her husband Leonard of North Hampton, NH; three grandchildren, Trentin Hursey, Eric Vorce and Patricia Melancon; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Norman also leaves his girlfriend, Lori Smith of Gardner.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 13th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 am in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery at a later date.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday, January 12th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
