Norman J. Allain, 93, of Gardner, died peacefully, Wednesday, September 18, 2019 in his residence.
Born in Gardner on August 5, 1926, he was the son of the late Calixte and Emma (LeBlanc) Allain. He was a machine operator for H&R 1871 in Gardner for over 30 years retiring in 1991.
Norman was a member of Annunciation Parish/Holy Rosary Church, Gardner and a member of the Trout Club. He enjoyed reading and spending time with friends.
He leaves one brother Donald Allain and his wife Claire of Woodbridge, VA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Lempi M. (Reinikainen) Allain; daughter, Diana Sue Allain, brothers, Edward Allain and Livain “Joe” Allain, and Andre Allain; and sisters Jeanne Hetnik and Alfreda Ladroga.
Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, October 2nd at 1:30pm in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner.
