Norma S Sisco

Norma S. (Davidson) Sisco, 90, formally of Charlton and Hubbardston, passed away peacefully on her 90th birthday.
She was born in Franklin, NH on November 18, 1927, the daughter of Adelard and Hermenie (Champoux) Davidson. Norma graduated from Oxford High School and was co-owner of Sisco Lumber Company, Inc. of Hubbardston for many years, retiring in 2002. She was a member of Holy Spirit Church, South Gardner. Norma was a den mother for the Boy Scouts for many years and was an enthusiastic supporter of the Republican Party. Norma loved making homemade donuts and root beer, enjoyed making puzzles, loved flowers especially cut flowers and her little dogs. She treasured spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and enjoyed taking them on vacations. A good day was simply just going for hot dogs and ice cream.
She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, William A. Sisco, Sr. She leaves three sons, William A. Sisco, Jr. and his wife Joyce of Winchendon, Orrin J. Sisco and his wife Elizabeth of Charlton, and Thomas R. Sisco and his wife Sandra of Hubbardston; a daughter, Nancy Sisco-Carothers and her husband Joseph of Texas. She was predeceased by a son, Leonard O. Sisco. She leaves a sister Lorraine Davidson of Pepperell and a sister-in-law Gloria Davidson of Shrewsbury. She was predeceased by a brother, Raymond Davidson. Norma had twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Norma's family for calling hours from 10 to 11 am followed by a funeral service on Monday, December 4th, at the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 260 Cochituate Road, Unit 200, Framingham, MA 01701.
