Nicholas K. "Nick" Leroy, 28, of 32 Lennon Street, Gardner, died Sunday, November 8th in HealthAlliance, Leominster Campus, Leominster, surrounded by his family, after being stricken ill.
Nick was born in Worcester on January 13, 1981, the son of the late Kevin Leroy and Tina (Arsenault) Salame.
Nick graduated from Narragansett Regional High School, Templeton, with the Class of 2000.
He was a construction worker for various local companies.
Nick was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children. His hobbies included fishing and ice fishing.
Nick leaves his mother, Tina (Arsenault) Salame of Templeton; one son, Wyatt Hunter Leroy of Baldwinville; one daughter, Shanique Elizabeth Cyganiewicz of Gardner; three brothers, Justin Leroy of Lowell, Anthony Salame of Templeton and Shayne Salame of Templeton; one sister, Tabitha Salame of Templeton; his maternal grandmother, Lorraine (Gallant) Arsenault of Gardner; his paternal great-grandmother, Estelle (Penski) Deslauriers of Gardner; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 14th at 9:30 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour in the funeral home will be Saturday, November 14th from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Nicholas' children.
