Nancy H. Nyman

Nancy H. Nyman, 74, of Ashburnham, died unexpectedly on Thursday, August 15, 2024, in her home.

Born in Gardner on August 09, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Anna (Wesockes) Storm. She graduated from Narragansett High School in 1969. She was a housekeeper for much of her life, most recently employed by Wachusett Rehab and Nursing Center before retiring in 2015.

Nancy enjoyed shopping and spending time in the yard and valued her time with friends and neighbors. Her favorite moments were shared with her family, especially her granddaughters.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Mindy Tamas, and her husband, Marc, of Castle Rock, CO; two granddaughters, Allison and Vanessa Tamas; her sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Kevin Cloutier of Athol, MA; and her brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Marie Storm of Baldwinville, MA; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence W “Larry” Casavant, who died in 2016.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., in Calvary Cemetery, Glenallen Street, Winchendon, MA 01475.
