Nancy L. (Ridnger) Leonard, 84, of Gardner, formerly of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away, Sunday, December 27, 2020, in Wachusett Manor, after an illness.
Born in Harrisburg, PA, on August 10, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Ethel (Feeser) Ridinger. She graduated from Susquehanna Township High School with the Class of 1954 and from Susquehanna University with the Class of 1958. Nancy was a lab technician employed by Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg, PA, for several years until her retirement.
Nancy was a member of the Hubbardston Senior Center. She enjoyed doing water aerobics and traveling, especially to Hawaii and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. She loved her dog, Freyja. But the time that she truly cherished was spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by a son, Steven Leonard and his wife Carolyn of Hubbardston; a daughter, Lori Kearney of Kalamazoo, MI; and four grandchildren, Scott, Christina, and Keri Leonard, and Thomas Kearney.
She was predeceased by her husband of 61-years, Harry E. Leonard, Jr., who died on December 23, 2020.
Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
