Nancy F. (Murphy) Gautreau, 69, of 149 Partridgeville Road, Templeton died Wednesday, January 18, 2012 in Heywood Hospital, following an illness.
Born in Winchendon on July 2, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Francis (Crawford) Murphy.
Prior to retiring in 1998, Nancy was employed by Simplex Time Recorder in Westminster for 22 years as an electrical inspector. She was previously employed for several years by Ray Plastics Company in Winchendon as a molding injection technician.
Nancy graduated from Murdock High School in Winchendon with the Class of 1960, and during her high school years was an avid swimmer.
She enjoyed crafts, gardening, shopping and doing crossword puzzles, especially Sudoku. Her favorite television shows were CSI, CIS HD TV and the News. She loved her dogs, Sam, Lady, Chyna and Buddy. Nancy most enjoyed spending time with her family.
She leaves her husband of 27 years, John R. Gautreau, of Templeton; three sons, Scott S. Clark and his wife Darlene of Princeton, Christopher J. Clark of Boston; T.J. Clark of Templeton and his significant other Sarah Algieri of Worcester; one daughter, Michaelann Clark-Buda and her husband Paul Cosentino, Jr. of Templeton; two brothers, Michael Murphy and his wife Elaine of Winchendon and Herbert Murphy, Jr. of Winchendon; seven sisters, Ann Abare and her husband James of Gardner, Josephine Vaine and her husband Steven of Winchendon, Mary Bois and her husband Ronnie of Winchendon, Kathleen Ryan and her husband Steven of Londonderry, NH, Doreen LaPointe and her husband Michael of Winchendon, Jane LaPointe and her husband Keith of New Ipswich, NH and Colleen Smith and her husband Robert of Templeton; nine grandchildren, Jessica Clark, Crystalle Clark, Shaunna Sauer, Alexander Buda, Stephanie Buda, Taylor Clark, Anthony Clark, Michael Algieri and Tyler Clark; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Nancy was predeceased by one son, Shawn D. Clark; one daughter, Susan K. Clark; and by one brother, Timothy Murphy.
Funeral Services and burial are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
