Nadege C. (Parent) Roy, 57, of 146 Greenwood Street, Gardner died peacefully Friday, May 9, 2014, in her residence following a long illness.
Nadege was born in France on June 16, 1956, the daughter of Michel and the late Michelle (Derumigny) Parent.
She graduated from Leominster High School, Leominster with the Class of 1974.
Nadege was an electronics technician employed by Tyco of Westminster for 25 years.
She enjoyed playing cards, archery and trivia. She loved music and animals. She was a fabulous cook and baker who loved to host holiday and family gatherings.
Besides her father, Michel Parent of Leominster she leaves her husband of 36 years, Raymond L. Roy of Gardner; her step-daughter, Kerry Russell and husband Ken of Indiana; two brothers, Jean-Marie Parent and his wife Darlene of Leominster and Francois Parent and his wife Brenda Height of Leominster; one sister, Scarlett Livesay and her husband Richard of Winchendon; two step-grandchildren, Cheyenne and Nathan Russell; one niece, Jennifer Parent; one nephew, Steven Parent; several aunts, uncles and cousins in France. Nadege was predeceased by three sons who died in infancy, Stephen in 1979, Christopher in 1980 and James in 1984.
Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
