Muriel R. (Pellerin) Spaulding, 79, of Gardner, died peacefully Saturday, November 10, 2018 in Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center of Gardner, following a brief illness.
Muriel was born in Winchendon on November 2, 1939, the daughter of the late Roland and Yvonne Pellerin.
She was employed by Dan’s Pine Shop of Baldwinville as a woodworker for many years, retiring in 1994.
Muriel enjoyed spending time at Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun, and she enjoyed watching her favorite game shows ‘Wheel of Fortune’ and ‘Jeopardy’.
She was predeceased by her husband, Allan Spaulding, Jr.
Muriel leaves four sons, Raymond Gerry, Sr. of Maine, Allan Spaulding, Jr. of Gardner, Mark Spaulding of Gardner, and Steven Spaulding of Gardner; two sisters, Irene Rodier and her husband Conrad of Baldwinville and Yvonne Lacross of Leominster; three grandchildren, Mandy and Scott Boutell, and Ray Gerry, Jr.; five great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her daughter, Tammy Gerry; brothers, Gilbert, Rudolphe, Wilfred and Lionel Deschenes; and sisters, Lucy Deschenes and Theresa Fortunato.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 24th at 12:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, West Street, Gardner.
A calling hour will be held Saturday, November 24th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
