Morris M. Ritter, 83, of 51 Hospital Road, Baldwinville , formerly of 50 Pine Street and 61 Lake Street, Gardner died peacefully Sunday, October 19, 2014 in the Baldwinville Nursing Home, Baldwinville.
Morris was born in Boston on September 12, 1931, the son of the late Louis and Lena (Cohen) Ritter.
In his earlier years, Morris was a custodial worker for GAAMHA of Gardner and Seven Hills of Gardner. He was previously employed as a painter for Nichols and Stone Company of Gardner.
He enjoyed bowling, and was a member of the ARC Bowling League. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time at Rietta Flea Market in Hubbardston. Morris took great pleasure in taking Wilson Bus trips to Hampton Beach, NH and dining at his favorite local restaurants; Cruisers, Paramount Cafe and the former Pizza Barn. He will be missed by his many friends in the Gardner community.
He leaves one sister, Esther Ritter of Kew Gardens, NY. He was predeceased by one brother, Harold Ritter.
Morris will be buried in Chesed Shel Emes Cemetery in Woodridge, NY.
