Monique (DiSilvio) Bourgeois, 87, formerly of Lovewell Street, Gardner, died peacefully Saturday, July 16, 2016 in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home of Gardner, surrounded by her family.
Born in Marseilles, France on November 6, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Joey and Raymonde (Roux) DiSilvio. Monique was raised and educated in France.
She was a cosmetic specialist employed by Edwards Pharmacy for many years, retiring when they closed in 1987.
Monique was a member of Holy Spirit Church of Gardner.
She enjoyed painting, cooking, cosmetics and hairstyling. She enjoyed watching French movies and listening to French music. Monique loved spending time with her family.
She leaves her husband of 69 years, George J. Bourgeois of Gardner; one son, Daniel Bourgeois and his wife Lesa M. of Ashburnham; one grandson, Jason M. Bourgeois and his wife Kate L. of Ashburnham; several nieces and nephews. Monique was predeceased by her half-sister, Jacqueline Romagon.
Funeral Services and burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
