Minnie M. (LeBlanc) Belliveau, 90, of 51 Hospital Rd., Baldwinville, died peacefully, Saturday, November 24th in the Baldwinville Nursing Home.
Born in Grand Digue, New Brunswick, Canada on April 21, 1922, she was the daughter of John and Marguerite (Cormier) LeBlanc.
She was a woodworker employed at Gardner Wood Products for 5
years, retiring in 1984. She previously worked at Gem Crib Co. of Gardner.
With her husband she owned and operated Deluxe Fish & Chips located on Parker Street, Gardner, for several years.
Mrs. Belliveau was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church.
Her greatest enjoyment came from traveling with family and attending daily Mass.
Her husband of 49 years, Francois J. Belliveau, died in 1990.
She leaves two sons, Roger J. Belliveau and his wife Susan of Toronto, Canada,Henry J. Belliveau and his wife Barbara of Minto , N.B., Canada; five daughters,Diane M. Melanson and her husband Leonard of Winchendon; Marguerite "Peggy" Windzio and her husband Helmuth of Westfield; Josephine M. Carignan and her husband Gerald of Athol, Mary Anne Melanson of Fitchburg, Jeanette M. Gokey and her husband Willliam of Uxbridge; a brother, Raymond LeBlanc and his wife Domithilde of Lewiston, ME; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Medas and Cloris LeBlanc; 3 sisters, Eliza Legere, Leona Cormier, Yvonne Hache and Doris Clement.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 27th from the Boucher
Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 11:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Tuesday, November 27th from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.
