Mildred A. 'Milli' (Chambers) Miller, 89, of Athol, died peacefully Sunday, April 2, 2017 in Quabbin Valley Healthcare of Athol, following a lengthy illness.
Born in Cape May Court House, NJ on May 4, 1927, she was the daughter of the late James M. and Alice (McCarty) Chambers.
Mildred was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church of Westminster.
She spent her life as a homemaker caring for her family, and worked part-time for Wachusett Village Inn of Westminster. Her hobbies included crocheting, knitting, cooking and baking. She also enjoyed dining out, going for car rides and playing cards.
Mildred leaves one son, Howard R. Miller of Athol; two daughters, Sharon R. Miller and her husband Keith Divoll of Anchorage, Alaska and Carolyn R. Miller and her husband Jerry Dupuis of Hubbardston; one brother, James M. Chambers III and his wife Dixie of Mayville, NJ; three grandchildren, William, Michael and Stephanie Kenney; one great-grandson, Jimmy Kenney; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three sisters, Jane Jenkine, Ada Munson and Anna Ruth Chambers.
There are no funeral services or calling hours scheduled.
Burial will be held at a later date in Cape May Court House, NJ.
