Mildred C. (Goddard) Bonner, 80, of 51 Hospital Road, Baldwinville, formerly of Hubbardston and originally from Randolph, died peacefully Wednesday, January 5, 2011 in the Baldwinville Nursing Home, Baldwinville, following a long illness.
Born in Weymouth, MA on January 31, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Robert Percival and Mildred M. (O'Connor) Goddard.
Mildred graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Weymouth, MA with the Class of 1947.
Prior to retiring in 1990, she was an Inventory Manager for Radio Shack in Randolph, MA for 12 years.
Mildred enjoyed spending time traveling and going on cruises.
She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, John R. Bonner who died July 26, 2009.
Mildred leaves three sons, John R. Bonner and his wife Laura of Ashland, Michael R. Bonner and his wife Ellen of Phillipston and Stephen D. Bonner of Franklin; one brother, Robert Goddard and his wife Susan of Revere; one sister, Barbara Hession and her husband Robert of Chelmsford; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her daughter, Barbara E. Bonner.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 11th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
Calling hours in the funeral home are Monday, January 10th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.
