Mila Stolba, 90, of Daytona Beach, Florida, formerly of 97 Rosewood Drive, Gardner died peacefully, Sunday, March 3, 2013 in Indigo Manor, Daytona Beach, Florida.
Born in Czechoslovakia on March 17, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Antonia (Zahradnikova) Stolba.
She was employed in the office of Weyhauser Paper Company of Fitchburg for 41 years, retiring in 1987. Prior to moving to the United States, Mila worked in accounting in Prague, Czechoslovakia.
Mila graduated from school and attended college in Prague, Czechoslovakia. She was trilingual, speaking English, German and Czechoslovakian.
She enjoyed walking, loved animals and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. Her favorite television shows were "Animal Planet", "Jeopardy" and "Wheel of Fortune".
Mila was predeceased by her brother, Jaroslav Stolba. She leaves her dear friend, Lillian G. Comee of Gardner and of DeLand, Florida.
Graveside Services will be held in Forest Hills Cemetery, Fitchburg at a later date.
