Michelle A. Nelson

Michelle A. (Mesmer) Nelson, 72, of Orange, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, after a brief illness.

Born in Northborough on January 20, 1949, she was the daughter to the late John A. and Sarah A. (Atwater) Mesmer. She graduated from Nashoba Regional High School with the Class of 1967. Michelle was a hairdresser at Regis Hair Salon for many years.

Michelle was very artistic especially loving to draw. She was an animal lover having many animals throughout her life most recently her cat, Buddy. Her greatest enjoyment in life was when she was with her family and friends.

She leaves her daughter, Dawn Reynolds and her husband Shane of Daytona Beach, Florida; one brother, John Mesmer and his wife Leslie of Carlisle, Pennsylvania; one sister, Cindy Mesmer and her significant other Russell Wilder of South Yarmouth; four step grandchildren, Ashley Reynolds, Lisa Reynolds, Nichols Reynolds, Courtney Steiner; three step great-grandchildren, Bryce and Anthony Tencoti, Thomas Stagg; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family would like to thank all of Michelle’s caregivers and nurses for all their care over the years.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, October 14, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home Inc. 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA 01440.
