Michael D. 'Mike' Seppa, 62, of Gardner, died peacefully Monday, November 28, 2016 in UMass Memorial Medical Center of Worcester, following a long illness.
Mike was born in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1954. He was the son of the late William R. and Helen J. (Pass) Seppa.
He graduated from Oakmont Regional High School of Ashburnham with the Class of 1972.
Mike was a bus driver employed by Heritage Truck and Transit Inc. of Gardner, retiring recently due to illness. He was previously a landscaper for Peter Korhonen Landscaping.
Mike enjoyed fishing, gardening and working in his yard. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots and enjoyed watching the games on television. Mike loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He leaves his significant other, Lisa Kane of Gardner; one son, Erik M. Seppa and his wife Tanya of Gardner; one brother, Karl Seppa and his wife Jude of Fitchburg; two grandchildren, Cameron M. and Drew S. Seppa of Gardner; nieces and nephews, Krista King, Karl Seppa, Laura Seppa and Nancy Wagg; and his dear friend, Dennis Maylin of Gardner. He was predeceased by one sister, June Albert-Buckman.
Family and friends are invited to attend Graveside Services on Tuesday, December 6th at 2:00 p.m. in Wildwood Cemetery, West Street, Gardner.
