Michael Paul"Mikey" Mason

Michael Paul "Mikey" Mason, 29, of 338 Royalston Road, Baldwinville, died Thursday, July 30th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center-University Campus, Worcester, following injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Born in Gardner on April 24, 1986, he was the son of Mark P. and Penny A. (Roy) Mason.
Mikey attended Narragansett Regional High School of Baldwinville.
At the time of his death, he was employed by George W. Pynn Masonry, Inc. of Plaistow, NH as a laborer. He was previously employed by Sipponmaa Masonry of Lunenburg.
Mikey was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, 4-wheeling and dirt biking. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his son Hunter. Mikey will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Besides his son, Hunter M. Mason and Hunter's mother, Melanie Hastings of Phillipston, Mikey leaves his father, Mark Mason and his wife Regina (Lovell) of Baldwinville; his mother, Penny Roy and her boyfriend, Kenneth Wilson, Jr. of Groton; maternal grandfather, Donald Roy of Haines City, FL; one step-brother, Todd Marsh and his fiancé Marissa Boisse of Gardner; three sisters, Melissa A. Cormier and her husband Gregg of Templeton, Melanie M. Mason of Winchendon, Megan M. Mason and her fiancé Nick LeBlanc of Winchendon; one step-sister, Tiffany Marsh of Leominster; aunts and uncles, Maureen LaFortune, Michael Mason and his wife Susan, Trudi Roy and her wife Diane Gass, Paula and Art Pace, Michael Roy and his girlfriend Colleen Davis, Brian Saulnier, Kimberly Saulnier Sauriano and her husband Kevin, Richard Saulnier, Larry and Michelle Boudreau, Sue and Roger Goguen, Nanette Voisine, Kenneth Boudreau and his wife Shannon; nephews, Evan Cormier and Brodie Peck; nieces, Merissa and Ava Cormier, Sophie Mason, Monique Barbosa, Julianna Martinez and Gianna Marsh; and several cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 8th at 12:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Baldwinville.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, August 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
