Michael P Hill Sr

Michael P. Hill, Sr. 74, of Templeton, died peacefully Tuesday, December 15, 2015 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester, surrounded by family, following a long illness.
Michael was born in Gardner on October 26, 1941, the son of the late Harold and Mildred (Kelley) Hill.
He attended Gardner High School of Gardner, and graduated from Saxon Trade School of Leominster.
Michael was employed by H&R 1871 as a printer, retiring in 2008. He was previously employed by Cincinnati Millacron-Heald Corporation of Worcester for 30 years.
Michael was a member of Holy Cross Church of Templeton.
He enjoyed spending time at his camp at Queen Lake, and was an avid outdoorsman who loved nature, fishing and kayaking. Michael was a tremendous history buff, who also enjoyed photography. He treasured spending time with his family.
He leaves his wife of 56 years, Patricia J. (Johnson) Hill of Templeton; five sons, Michael P. Hill, Jr of Hardwick, MA, Thomas P. Hill and his wife Sandra of Otter River, Matthew T. Hill of Templeton, Joshua J. Hill of Templeton and Noah J. Hill and his wife Allison of Templeton; three daughters, Tammy P. Cote of Hubbardston, Jacqueline M. Hill of Fitzwilliam, NH and Kelley J. Boudreau and her husband Norman of Templeton; one sister, Carol Pastic and her husband Joseph of Centerville, VA; twenty five grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; nine nieces and nephews and several cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Harold Hill, Jr. and by his sister, Mary Hill.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 21st from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, 25 Lake Street, Templeton. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Templeton.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, December 20th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
