Michael J. Erickson, 50, of Gardner, died peacefully Thursday, January 19, 2023, in Lahey Medical Center, Burlington, after an illness with his family by his side.
Born in Gardner on March 31, 1972, he was the son of the late Dennis R. and Susan A (Breslin) Erickson. Michael served in the United States Army Persian Gulf Veteran serving actively in Germany from 1992 to 1994, while serving in the Army Reserves from 1991 to 1999, where he received the National Defense Service Medal, and the Army Service Ribbon. He was a Laborer employed by Tom Rahaim Siding for many years.
Michael was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish/ Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. He loved New England sports and enjoying football and playing golf. Michael was the family jokester whose greatest joy was time spent with his family, especially his children.
Michael is survived by his son, Cameron D. Erickson of Orange; a daughter, Isabella G. Erickson of Orange; a sister, Laurie B Harmon of Medford; two nephews, Jacob and Zachary Harmon, both of Templeton; and several cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 3, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA.
A Calling Hour will be held Friday, February 3, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
