Melvin W. "Melly" Guy, 67, of 519 East River Street, Orange and formerly of 32 Pine Hill Circle, Waltham, died Friday, September 3rd in Legend Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Gardner.
Melvin was born in Waltham on July 10, 1943, the son of the late Herbert C. and Muriel W. (Penney) Guy, Sr.
Melvin graduated from Waltham High School with the Class of 1960.
Prior to retiring, he was a truck driver for various companies in the Waltham and Boston area.
Melvin's hobbies included making remote control aircraft. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox , the Boston Bruins and auto racing.
Melvin leaves two brothers, Herbert C. Guy, Jr of Waltham and Richard J. Guy and his wife Judy Baker of Waltham; one uncle, Melvin Walsh of Waltham; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Vira D. Mays.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
