Medora F. (Richard) Thibault, 99, of 32 Hospital Hill Road and formerly of 116 Church St., Gardner, died peacefully Friday, July 21st in the Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner, following an illness.
Born in Gardner on October 10, 1906, she was the daughter of Calixte and Roselda (Deslaurier) Richard.
She was a cutter employed by the former Rousseau Mfg. Co. and Custom & Modern Mfg. Co., both of Gardner until retiring in 1968.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church and its Ladies of St. Anne Society.
Mrs. Thibeault enjoyed knitting and was a fan of the Red Sox Baseball Team.
Her husband of 24 years, Frank Thibault, died in 1971.
She leaves a daughter, Ann McInerney and husband Kevin of Gardner; 2 grandsons Ryan and Kyle McInerny; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by 5 brothers, Arthur, Theodore, Ernest, Louis and Andrew Richard, 3 sisters, Albertine Coulombe, Eugenie St.Germaine and Alexandrina LeBlanc.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 25th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday, July 24th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
