Medora M. Kelley

August 21, 1913 — October 29, 2008

Medora M. (Boucher) Kelley, 95, formerly of 22 Coleman Street,and 104 Church Street, Gardner died peacefully Wednesday, October 29th in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner, surrounded by her family.

Born in Gardner on August 21, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Pierre and Christine (Jaillet) Boucher.

Mrs. Kelley was employed by Bercon Plastics in Gardner as a packer for 17 years, retiring in 1982.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner. Medora enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends.

Medora was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Ollo J. Kelley who died in 1962.

She leaves three sons, Peter O. Kelley and his companion, Carol Vivoamore of Leominster, Daniel J. Kelley and his wife Karen of Gardner and William A. Kelley and his wife Irma of Gardner; four daughters, Louella M. Roy of Gardner, Doris C. Richard and her husband Gerald of Leominster, Kathleen J. Richard and her husband Paul of Gardner and Susan M. Kelley of Gardner; one brother, Albert Boucher of Melbourne, FL; one sister, Helen Gallant of Bonita Springs, FL; one son-in-law, Thomas Jalutkewicz of Gardner; sixteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves two dear friends, Juna Dymek and Louise McGuire, both of Gardner. She was predeceased by a son, Roger Kelley who died in 1946; a daughter, Nancy E. Jalutkewicz who died in 2005; four brothers, Ernest, Alfred, Roger and Adelard Boucher; three sisters, Anna Cormier, Ida Boucher and Alma LeBlanc.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 1st from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner.

Calling hours in the funeral home will be Friday, October 31st from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Holy Church or to Our Lady of the Holy Rosary School, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA 01440.
