May M. (Allain) Cormier, 60, of 190 Pine St., Gardner died Wednesday, April 12th surrounded by her family in the Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner, following a long illness.
Born in St. Antoine, NB, Canada on April 5, 1946, she was the daughter of Louie and Albina (Allain) Allain.
She was a cashier and bagger employed by Victory Markets of Gardner for 23 years until retiring in 2004.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church.
May enjoyed crocheting, arts & crafts, painting, and spending time at the family camp at Templeton Fish & Game Club in East Templeton.
She leaves her husband of 33 years, Donald J. Cormier of Gardner; 1 son, Gary P. Cormier and wife Julie of Gardner; 2 brothers, Rene Allain and wife Madeleine of Terre Bonne, PQ, Canada, Yvon Allain and wife Patricia of Phillipston; 2 sisters, Bertha Gauthier and husband Rene of Leominster, Edith Graham and husband Frank of Waine Right, Alberta, Canada; 2 aunts, Sara Bourque and Lorraine Allain, both of Moncton, NB, Canada; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 18th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday, April 17th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
