Maurice A. Pelletier, 78, of 167 Pleasant Street, Gardner, died Monday, March 12th in Umass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus, Worcester following a short illness.
Born in Fitchburg, MA on December 28, 1928, he was the son of the late Henry and Clara (Gelinas) Pelletier.
Maurice was employed as a stockman for C.H. Hartshorn Company of Gardner for 10 years, retiring in 1994.
He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Gardner.
Maurice enjoyed riding his bike, watching Soap Operas on television, and dining out at restaurants. He enjoyed attending barbeques, flea markets and plays at Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner.
Maurice is survived by two sisters; Marie Anne Landry and her husband George of Gardner and Jeanne LaFrenier of Morrison, CO; one nephew, John LaFrenier; and one niece, Donna (LaFrenier) Modine; and several cousins. He was predeceased by a brother Leon Pelletier of Greenville, N.H
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 16th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 am in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour at the funeral home will be Friday, March 16th from 8:30 am to 9:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 166 Cross Street, Gardner.
