Matthiew R. Arsenault

December 20, 1965 — March 5, 2006

Matthiew "Matt" R. Arsenault, 40, of 55 Baker St., Gardner, died Sunday, March 5th in UMASS Medical Center, Worcester, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Gardner on December 20, 1965, he was the son of the late M. Noella (Richard) Arsenault.

He was a paver employed by City Paving Co. of Gardner for 20 years. He was previously employed by Fred's Auto Repair of Gardner.

Matt was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. He enjoyed fishing, boating, skiing, water skiing, and spending time with friends.
He leaves his father and stepmother, Robert D. and Charlene M. (Demazure) Arsenault of Templeton; 3 sons, Matthiew Arsenault, Dante Agnelli, both of Gardner, Shayne Arsenault of Haverhill; 2 brothers, Mark S. Arsenault and wife Penney of Winchendon, Michael D. Arsenault of Sarasota, FL; 2 sisters, LouAnn Bankowski and husband Larry of E. Templeton, Lisa Wiitala and husband Bradley of Ridgecrest, CA; 4 stepbrothers, Timothy Hargon, Brian Hargon and wife Debbie all of Fitchburg, Thomas Hargon of Cleveland, TN, Shawn Hargon of Romania; dear friends, Roger and Suzette Goguen, Paul and Sharon Arsenault, James and Michelle Stanley all of Gardner; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 9th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner, will be at a later date.

Calling hours at the funeral home are Wednesday, March 8th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6 Strathmore Rd., Natick, MA 01760 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
