Mathilda M.""Tillie"" Therrien

Mathilda M. "Tillie" (Boudreau) Therrien, 94, of 51 Hospital Rd., Baldwinville, and formerly of 92 Park St., Gardner, died Friday, March 18th in the Baldwinville Nursing Home surrounded by her family.
Born in Fitchburg on December 12, 1916, she was the daughter of Denis and Eugenie (Arseneau) Boudreau.
Tillie was an assembler employed by the former Heywood-Wakefield Co. of Gardner for 10 years until retiring in 1979.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church and its Ladies of St. Anne Society. She was a member of the Gardner Golden Agers. Tillie enjoyed traveling with her husband and also cherished the time she spent with her family. She liked watching "The Price is Right" and "Jeopardy" on television. Tillie loved to cook and sew and was a true friend to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be sadly missed by all.
Her husband of 59 years, Louis H. Therrien, died in 2001.
She leaves three daughters, Janet M. Miller and her husband William A. of Marlboro, Jane M. Cornett and her husband Mel of Gardner; Claire A. LeBlanc and her husband Roger of Phoenix, AZ; 1 sister-in-law, Doris Boudreau of Westford; 2 sisters, Laura Leger of Springfield, Jane LeBlanc of Fitchburg; 1 brother-in-law, Raymond King of Fitchburg; 5 grandchildren, Deena Miller and her husband David Croke; Michael Miller and his wife Karla, Patricia and Jonathan Cornett, Melissa LeBlanc; 4 great-grandchildren, Leah, Allison, Ethan Croke and Max Miller; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by 3 brothers, Raymond, Emery and Herve Boudreau, and a sister, Florence King.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 22nd from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday, March 21st from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Baldwinville Nursing Home, Activity Fund, 51 Hospital Rd., Baldwinville, MA 01436.
