Born in Oswego, NY, on April 18, 1926, she was the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Netters) Salvador. She graduated from Oswego High School with the Class of 1943. In her early career, she worked in Washington, D.C. in the Department of the Navy, and later was a supervisor at the Former Simplex Time Recorder. Mary was a payroll clerk employed by S. Bent Company of Gardner for 21 years until her retirement in 1990.

Mary was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish/ Holy Spirit Chapel of Gardner. She was a member of the Craft Group of Westminster, the Gardner Chapter of AARP, and the Chair City Walkers. Mary was known for her quilting and loved and cherished making handmade quilts and hand-crafted items for family and friends. She enjoyed watching her Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. Mary enjoyed travelling and had the opportunity to travel the country and world, her favorite visits being Ireland, Greece, and Italy. She enjoyed being active and was known by many for her spitfire and positive attitude on life. But the time that Mary loved and truly cherished the most was spent with her family and friends, with whom she left a great impact.

Lasky and his wife, Pamela of Hartland, VT; her daughter, Donna Daunais of Rutland; her three cherished grandchildren, Chase, Shaylin, and Brynn Daunais, all of Rutland; two sisters, Catherine Boni of Oswego, NY and Ann Makin of Oswego, NY; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
