Mary Anne "Eva" (Cormier) Drisdelle, 94, of 141 South Main St., E. Templeton and formerly of 413 Pleasant St., Gardner, died peacefully Saturday, December 19th in her residence.
Born in Gardner on March 5, 1915, she was a daughter of Placide and Annie (Meunier) Cormier.
Mrs. Drisdelle was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards and had a true zest for life.
Her husband of 50 years, Alfred J. Drisdelle, died in 1990.
She leaves a son, Leo J. Drisdelle of Gardner; 3 daughters, Yvonne M. Bourdages and her husband Aurele of East Templeton, Delia M. Drisdelle of Actonvale, Quebec, Canada, Alma M. LeBlanc of E. Templeton; a brother, Edmond Cormier, a sister, Mary Doiron both of Moncton, NB, Canada; 9 grandchildren, 8 greatgrandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by 5 brothers, Herve, Ulysse, Arthur, Emile, Alfred Cormier and 3 sisters, Melende Richard, Rita Goguen and Irene Cassie.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 23rd from the
Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Tuesday, December 22nd from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
